The iomojo camera server is an easy-to-use Linux distribution (based on Red Hat 7) for home server appliances. It converts a standard PC into a streaming video-enabled residential gateway and webcam server. Features include a webcam server, video chat, picture sharing, a photo album, and collaboration tools like groupview for pushing any Web data to all connected users. The multi-user Web-based interface makes configuration and system administration easy. The camera server works through firewalls, requires no plugins or java, and uses any bt878 or bt848 based (such as Hauppauge WinTV or Miro PCTV) frame grabber. The video capture makes use of bttvgrab.
