About:
PTkSdict is a dictionary using Sdict dictionary format. Unlike ptkdic or gtkdic, MySQL isn't needed; you can work with dictionary files directly. It uses Unicode, meaning that words and articles all are in UTF-8. There are two index levels, compression, and tools to convert from text files to .dct and vice versa.
PTkSdict是使用Sdict字典格式的字典。不像ptkdic或者gtkdic，PTkSdict不需要MySQL，你可以直接使用字典文件工作。它采用统一的字符编码标准，这意味着所有的单词和文章都是UTF-8标准。
