EB-lite is a rewrite of Everybuddy with no user interface built into the core process. Instead, user interfaces connect via TCP, allowing flexibility, network transparency, and some entertaining tricks. At the moment, EB-lite includes user interfaces for Qt, the command line, J2ME (for mobile phones and handheld computers), and WAP.

EB-lite是Everybuddy的重构版本，在其内核处理中没有建入用户接口。相反，通过TCP建立用户接口连接，允许灵活性，网络透明性，以及一些有趣的功能。EB-lite目前包括为Qt提供的用户界面，命令行，J2ME(为手机和手持计算机提供)，以及WAP。
