This shows how to play WAV files from a memory image loaded from your RES. Also demonstrates tiling a bitmap across the back of your form to give it a textured appearance. That naturally raises issues with regard to controls such as option buttons and checkboxes, and those are handled as well. Finally, an example is given on how one might animate a series of icons similar to what Netscape or Internet Explorer does when they're downloading something. This one's big because it contains both a compiled resource file and the resources that went into it. Still, it's the only sample I'm aware of that shows these features.

13254. multiCD - multiCD provides an easy way to backup a large number of files to multiple CDs. Give multiCD the files/directories you want backed up and it will create as many CDs as it needs to, prompting the user to put in a new disc whenever needed. It can be configured to run in a multi-threading mode, where it will burn one image to a disc while it is copying files to another image. This feature can be disabled for slower machines.

13255. Radial Control - I need a software control to simulate and replace a hardware dial control. So I came up with this control. This radial control is derived from CStatic and can be created using the ClassWizard or you can do your own subclassing.

Most of the commands are similar to CSliderCtrl, I may in the future derived this class from CSliderCtrl and send all slider control messages. Currently this control only sends the WM_HSCROLL message when being modified via mouse or keyboard. The reason that the control sends a message is so that the parent has a chance to act on that message.
