- This shows how to use Pocket PC’s IMGDECMP.dll image processor through the free CVOImage class libraries. Using embeded Visual C++ and the Pocket PC 2002 SDK (MFC) I have created a simple image viewer which loads graphics files from disk. Tested on iPaq 3850.

1654. Imitating Windows Explorer
- The IShellBrowser::BrowseObject was never even called, so I didn't implement it, but it should be implemented because most NSEs use this method. I did find that the shellview sends WM_DDE* messages and if you respond properly you'll get the info about the action user taken. The needed messages are WM_DDE_INITIATE, WM_DDE_EXECUTE, WM_DDE_TERMINATE.

1655. Capturing CommandBar Events in VB Add-In
- When working, we often need to count how many lines our programmers have developed, including source code lines, comment lines, and blank lines. This software, Counting ver1.1, is designed for that purpose. At first, I developed it to count my VC++ source code. Later, it was upgraded to count files such as VB, Java, ASP, JSP, and so on. By comparison, I found Counting is quicker and more accurate than other means, especially for some unfamiliar instances.

- The sample project was made to retrieve text and picture contents from the clipboard using API functions and display them in the Visual Basic form. The actual business logic has been written into a seperate compoenent (an ActiveX DLL project) which can be ported to your applications. Particularly useful in environments like VBA where no intrinsic Clipboard Object is available.
